Greene County recorder resumes processing of mail, offers links to online index books

While the Greene County recorder’s office remains closed to the public, it has resumed the processing of recordings sent via overnight and regular mail. The recorder has posted links to the county’s online index books for title companies and abstractors.

A message posted to the recorder’s website reads as follows:

"Due to COVID-19, the building that houses the Greene County Recorder's Office and Greene County Auditor's Office has temporarily closed to the public. We are continuing to process any mail we receive, either from mail or overnights, so you can continue to mail them to our office.

Title Companies and Abstractors you may access our index books dated 1925-1983 via the link shown below. Our index from 1984 to date is on our Recorders Document Search - link is below - and images are available from 1995 to date."
