Janet K. Cooper

Janet Cooper represents school districts, municipalities and nonprofit entities on all facets of school law and labor and employment law. Her practice focuses on issues such as student misconduct, special education/disability disputes and employment matters, policies and contracts.
Janet has made presentations at local, state and regional level seminars and conferences on school and employment law issues. She provides regular in-service training to school administrators in both general and specialized areas of school law with a particular emphasis on student issues, primarily those arising under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA).
